What happened to him being the most complete number 9 in the world then?
is it because he's left to go to Chelsea or has your opinion just completely changed on him
It depends what you mean, really, judging Torres' form since he's been at Chelsea, it's hard to say he's the same player he was at Liverpool. I've not made it up that he's played poorly, because he has, but I don't think he'll ever be the near unstoppable force he was for the first half of his Liverpool career. He actually began to pick up his form before he went to Chelsea, but he went back to his poor form and it's hard to believe he can still be the world's best striker.
Still, he is a good player, I would never deny that. Problem is, he's trying to regain personal form, fitness and mentality, whilst also trying to adjust to things at a club that probably didn't need him or want him (Ancelotti, not the club itself).
If Torres picks up his old form, then good for him, but I can't help but laugh whilst he isn't. Similarly with Owen, I remember him at Liverpool almost rejecting a winners medal because he felt he hadn't played a part in winning the cup with us, a few years later and he's saying things like "I forgot what it was like to win trophies" and "Just got to beat Barca to complete his career trophy haul". How can a player like that even discuss winning trophies? He is an absolute nothing player who's added nothing but another twitter account to the United dressing room. Absolutely embarrassing.
