What a goal from Jermaine Beckford yesterday. Made about 80 metres with the ball and beat about 300 million pounds worth of players on the way to a sensational finish.
It was a good goal. The finish was good, even though Cech did get his hands to the ball.
But the fact he even got there was down to nothing more than a fluke, the ball ricocheted off the defender, on to Beckford and luckily bounced perfectly for him to take control.
Everton thoroughly deserved the win,
I thought you played slightly better than us.
But in the second half we'd smacked the post and were unlucky that Terry was just caught offside when Ivanovic netted.
A draw would have been a deserved result, but we didn't do nearly enough to earn one when we went behind.
Chelsea have absolutely no desire or team spirit. Carlo had to go after that performance, it shows what the players thought of him, no effort to put on a show in support of their coach. The likes of Cole and Malouda were pathetic and Torres is finished on that evidence, utterly inept again.
Think that's harsh on Cole. I think he's been blunt in attack, but there was an incident yesterday where he put in a cross deep in attack, Everton broke and Cole ended up blocking the cross near our goal line. An amazing effort to track back.
Malouda was invisible.
Torres was utterly starved again. While he's been poor for us, he's been 20 times better than the service he's received.
I truly cannot work out how the hell Drogba was dropped altogether. And Ancelotti's masterstroke of bringing on Ferreira late in the game just reminded us of the CL sub when we were chasing two goals.
