Just noticed Michael Owen has a similar record in english football this season with Liverpool superstar Luiz Suarez. What a bargain Owen is. Also, most of Owen's appearances are 10 minute cameos off the bench.

Owen 5 goals in 1(16) = 17 games.

Suarez 4 Goals in 11(2) = 13 games

What a goal from Jermaine Beckford yesterday. Made about 80 metres with the ball and beat about 300 million pounds worth of players on the way to a sensational finish. Everton thoroughly deserved the win, Chelsea have absolutely no desire or team spirit. Carlo had to go after that performance, it shows what the players thought of him, no effort to put on a show in support of their coach. The likes of Cole and Malouda were pathetic and Torres is finished on that evidence, utterly inept again.

I noticed the away end at the Reebok was full yesterday!! No boycott this time by Man City fans despite the prices likely to have been the same £36 if not dearer than in 2008. I guess the City fans think that they're richer too, not just their club.
