Have to disagree with you there Robert. I think those would be awful appointments for Chelsea and I personally don't consider them big European names.

Yet in their statement they claim the decision is to help them achieve their long term goals as a club.

If you won't give a manager long term backing, you aint going to achieve any long term goals.
