Ridiculous. Mancini hasn't bottled anything. City hit a bad patch of form which coincided with an outrageous run of form by united.

You can't just click your fingers and win a title no matter how many billions you have. It takes time to build a title winning team, even with endless amounts of money. Theres no getting away from that. Under mancinin city have shown improvement year on year in terms of performance and points amassed. This year will be no different.

You sure you're not a City fan?

United's run of eight successive league wins is the longest by any Premier League club since we won 11 in a row in March 2009. Timing.

I've said it weeks ago and I still feel the same, we need to keep Mancini for another season.

He's made mistakes, without a doubt but as people have said a team can't just be thrown together, they need to be built over time, swapping managers now would disrupt things again. Besides that there is nobody that could walk in and get instant success (don't even mention Mourinho he wouldn't be interested for a second)

We've improved every season under Mancini 5th, 3rd and now 2nd. I personally think he'll learn from this season, as will the team.

Until he came back, tail between legs and apologised.

People make out like city begged him on hands and knees to return, but they weren't paying his wages and wouldn't sell him for a knock down price. So tevez was rotting and had no option.

they didn't have to pick him, they didn't have to play him, just pointing out what Mancini says isn't necessarily play him.

whilst his being an &rse cost him millions, I am sure Tevez could take being without wages for 6 months a bit better than most of us could

Interesting stats regarding Scholes

united's pass completion stats

before scholes' return - 6th in the league

after scholes' return - 1st

34 out of 36 points ffs. the only points we dropped were against chelsea when we were 3-0 down. scholes didn't start, came on in the 63rd minute at 3-1

he will need replacing at some point mind you

Impressive isn't it. I can't think of anyone who could come in and do a job like that.

Valencia and Rooney are more key to your title run than Scholes.
