Deary me - RL has done a much better job of trying to kill itself than Union could ever do.
WTF has that got to do with it. I said that yawnion has tried to kill RL for the last 115 years, what has that got to do with RL so called try to kill itself.

B0110cks,yawnion will never be as good as RL. I have heard this before about RL was better in the 80s and 90s,why is it.
It's called opinion. Super 14 was good at times last season, but apart from that I only get to see the English Premiership, Top 14 and the Six Nations. To be honest I haven't been overly impressed by any of them but that's just my personal opinion. Since I've been back over in England I've caught a few Championship games and been entertained. The NRC final at the weekend was a cracking game and I'm looking forward to Thursday's Championship game already.

I understand it's all about opinion but this is a(I would imagine)RL fans forum. Besides that I have to agree with you about the NRC final, fantastic game, well done Batley.
The tournament may be the third biggest sporting event on the planet, but it could well be the last the country can afford. Organisers expect to make a $40million operating loss, to be underwritten partly by the government and partly by the New Zealand Rugby Union.
