Which ALL passed in the blinking of an eye (Wolves sprinting back for kick offs, double subs)

Compare this, with the game between WHam and Liverpool in Sept 09 in which the first half had
2 substitutions
4 goals
4 bookings and some lengthy injury stoppages
and ONLY 3 1/2 mins injury time.

The timekeeping needs taking off the referee, and giving to someone else. Add to this, clocks in the ground, so EVERYONE can see how much time is left. Now where have I seen that before?

Because if you had instead of flying off on a rant you'd notice I said it was a correct decision to give you that amount of time. It was also a similar circumstance to Owen's goal against City, i.e. injury time being extended to take in to account goal celebrations and time wasting but people wont stop complaining about it and Alex Fergusons "magical influence".

So let me put this into thickie terms which you might bother paying attention to: I agreed with the amount of injury time in the Liverpool Arsenal game in question.

Pulis? because he got to a final?

Mancini was more deserving that Pulis, first City trophy in 35 years and more than likely going to get third spot but 4th at worst. That's much more of an achievement that getting to a final and finishing 8th.

Even taking that into account mate. Pulis has done a cracking job with Stoke since he's had them in the Premier League but to finish 8th and get to a final isn't a manager of the year achievement for me. Mancini has won a trophy and has caught and taken over Arsenal for third place. That's an achievement even with a shed load of money.

Final round of games in the Spanish league this afternoon and any one of six can be relegated.

18-Real Zaragoza 37 -14 42

Real Sociedad are at home to Getafe in what should be a very interesting match.

And you thought it was tight at the bottom of the Premier League?
