Good effort from United who were the better team for me. Away from home with so many important players missing it was much closer than I thought. As Mark has said, with United and City out of the competition not many sides are going to be able to break down Dalglish's ultra-defensive tactics. Predicted Chelsea to win the Cup pre-season and it's now down to them or Liverpool.

United had a lot of the ball but done very little with it, it was nothing to do with Liverpool being negative, when we got the ball we attacked with numbers and got our full backs forward. Both teams played with one up front and quite a deep midfield, so why United fans try and take some offensive moral high ground is baffling. Little moaning coming from the United fans about the embarrassing Park, he's worse than David Silva when it comes to diving.

Not diving that mate. Never been able to stay on his feet, falls over when nobdy near him, trips up on the ball etc. Mainly due to him not being very good.
