They're very interested but the last I read Mancini was adamant he wanted to keep him "he could be one of the best defenders in europe". Could be just Mancini talking up the price but I hope not. It would be a shame to let him go after one injury disrupted season.

I suppose the problem is whether he'll get enough game time to establish himself. He'd currently be 3rd choice right back behind Richards (vastly improved in recent months) and Zabaleta. Lescott has done very well recently and Toure was playing well before his suspension. And he's looked very uncomfortable at left back, despite his performances in the WC.

You can assume what you want pal. Over the half season Dalglish has been here he's rivalled all the other clubs pointswise with a massive injury list. Suarez has been absolutely awesome and arguably been our best player since Jan. The potential on him is massive.

You seem to have missed the fact that I picked Ferguson over the whole season and Hernandez due to the price you paid.

Anyway, congratulations to United on their 19th title. It would be a very bitter pill to swallow if I didn't have so much to look forward to this summer and the coming season. That's not to say we'll win anything but if January onwards is anything to go by with a fully fit squad and a few new additions it'll be very interesting to see where we end up.

Liverpool were great the last 12-14 games in 2008-2009 and they were high hopes for the season after. It's easier playing with zero pressure, the four stupid results you had to shat teams still shows that you have problems against the lower sides. You've also been knocked out of two competitions since he's taken over. I understand your optismism to an extent, as Dalglish has no doubt rejuvenated the club and transformed the attitude. I'd reign it in a little though. You've turned that many corners you've done a full circle.

As for form since January. I bet Fulham are well up there. I won't be expecting them to be knocking on the champions league door. I think your main aim maybe Arsenal.

We hear it every year mate. They were wetting themselves with excitment wen they amassed the most points without winning a league title or something like that. Last year it was how wonderful Woy would be, this year it's another new dawn. Leave them to it!

Player of the season - Hernandez.

Manager of the season - Ferguson.

Goal of the season - Anything by Lionel Messi.

Match of the season - Arsenal v Newcastle.

Signing of the season - Hernandez.

Flop of the season - Torres, Roy Hodgson at Liverpool, FIFA.

Gripe of the season - poop referee's, FIFA, The media saying that the 4th place team have "qualified for the Champions League". No they haven't you f*****g morons, they've qualified for the qualification round of the CL, not the CL itself. Remember Everton in 2005....

Pundit of the season - No-one as they are all w**k.

Innovations needed for next season - Goal-line technology, FIFA headquarters to be blown up with Blatter inside, FA shake-up.

League of the season - Bundesliga, because it's a league that is actually more than a two horse race and an unfancied team won it.

**** of the season - Howard Webb, Celtic FC.

United end of season awards. Nani was named players' player of the year, while Javier Hernández took the fans' player of the year title.

Spent last night in the company of Nobby Nolan and Joey Barton - top, top fellas. Some brutal honesty from them both which was very refreshing.
