A better day today, placed horses at 16/1, 16/1 and 6/1 and Big Bucks 5/6 and Ballabriggs 9/1 winners.

Had the same size bet on Big Bucks as Master Minded (my two biggest bets of the week) so it was a relief that the second one obliged.

Another reasonable profit today - would have been way more had Faasel got up close home

Friday another very trappy day, but here goes anyway.

I like the look of Bellvano in the 2.05 got done by Menorah giving 3lbs away who we all know about now, the horses it has beaten have been winning or won.

Done it 11/1 E/W 5 places

Got a great cruising speed Henderson says it suits a strong gallop hopefully we get that plus quick ground its ran on pretty soft ground so far so don't want too much rain tonight, I need another Spirit River and Geraghty's on this one

Done alot better today, snapped up the evens on BB (wasn't having a bet on him at 4/7)

Mister McGolrick was 10/1 the place on betfair which aided my cause Gallant Nuit place proving small profit on that selection however was dissapointed with hey big spender and fredo who unseated and pulled up respectively.

I've so far got Tell Massini at 6's and Pittoni at 17/1 e/w on AP slips.

Will post other thoughts later, although no one's putting me off Kauto

One concern is what it does once it gets to the front but I like Geraghty and he should give it a good ride.

Stanjames are the ones going 5 places which hopefully it can atleast get in this was going to be JP McManus's horse for the Supreme Novices but went against the idea its very highly rated at home.
