I'll tell you what pressure is. "Grand final, only seconds to go, and a field goal attempt with a split testicle and your shoes on the wrong feet."
He's neck scars proves he's lost his head Tevez, Tevez
He'll never have a sexy bird Tevez, Tevez
The argy lover, the ugly ****, they sewn his head on back to front
Carlos Tevez, herman munster head.
Ferguson certainly did when he was younger, passed up the chance to sign Ferdinand when he went to Leeds because he rated Brown that highly.
Another who rated him was Allen Marsh who was the goalkeeper in the same team as Wes, he still says that Wes was one of the best players he's ever played with and if it wasn't for the injurys he could have been one of the best in the world. Thats the problem though the injurys have really hampered him over the years.
I wouldn't bother reading this bit, there is nothing interesting, witty or insightful down here, just this collection of boring words explaining that you really are wasting your time browsing this signature in the vain and futile hope that there will be a nugget, nay, a veritable goldmine of witticisms or divine philosophy. In reality, all you're going to get is disappointment, a sense of hopelessness and a random word.
How many premier league teams are represented on here? I remember they're being a Hammers fan popping up occasionally.

We get quite a wide range of teams...really.
Not me but you can count me as a Sunderland (armchair) fan though I have never posted on this thread, much better to watch the frequent spats and the mad rantings of Enfield Exile. Chortle.
You teach? Really? Brilliant. That further strengthens my decision to send my daughter to a prep school.
I don’t know where you get this idea from that I dislike lots of teams. It simply isn’t true. I can assure that out of those you listed, I actually have no issue with Villa. Out of the PL I actually quite like Liverpool, Wolves, Blackburn, Newcastle, Bolton, West Brom and a few others. In terms of fans, my favourites are Arsenal. I also have soft spots for Brighton, Ipswich, Brentford, Barnet and Rochdale. One of those clubs actually sent City down to the Championship.
I will admit I dislike Everton. I cannot stand the club. For many reasons, including: * Racist club * The supporters whinge to the police as soon as a player (one they have probably abused throughout the whole game) flicks the Vs at them * You call yourselves the People’s Club * Your ground is a hovel * The supporters think the club is far more important than it actually is. You think you are as important as Liverpool * The supporters appear to spend a lot of time wallowing in self-pity * The least humourless and interesting supporters I have ever come across
I do teach. Now you're mocking/ questioning that? Sums you up pretty well. I bet your the type who hates students. By what happens when you become ill and need a doctor? Or need a good lawyer? Or send your children to school? All have been educated so try not too belittle that.
Racist club? I don't remember Everton being a racist club I have to say, but I have seen a photo or a banana being thrown onto the pitch which is awful. But that was 20 years ago. I think you're indenial too think that Man City fans have never been racist.
Supporters whinge to the police? Its not the first time you've said that but I don't understand what it actually means. To me, it means Joey Barton showed his backside to the Park End, which lets face it, isn't the crime of the century but if you did it the street you'd be nicked. Three people out of 40,000 complained and thats your take on all EFC fans.
I don't call us the people's club, but so what if i did or anyone else does. Which lets face it, doesn't happen a lot.
Our ground is a hovel, you're right, I want us too move, but is that a reason to dislike the club.
Our team is important to us. But pot, kettle, black. Comparing City to United.
What have we wallowed in self-pity about? Nothing has ever happenend to EFC. Your second club no all about that though.
The last comment is just so bizarre its untrue.
Did you're Spurs wife have an affair with an Evertonian?

I'm not sure who's criticised Silva, but whoever they are are fairly dumb. .
I'm very happy to admit to extreme dumbness on that subject. After his first couple of ganes I did express doubts (having made it clear that I hadnt seen too much of him on the telly) as to whether Silva would cope with the physicality of the premiership. His performances in our last 3 games show that those doubts were unfounded. I think Mancini deserves a fair bit of credit for the way he has eased him into the league. Barring injuries I think he'll make a massive impact in the next few weeks.
Hernandes is obviously a very talented player. My only question would be whether him and Rooney are natural partners.

Mancini deserves no credit IMO - he's got the easiest job in the world!
Me: I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
knockersbumpMKII: Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm

One of life's little pleasures. People can say what they like about the fella (and, because he is so abrasive, they often do) but there can be no question that this thread in particular would be less interesting without him.
