But there have been some fantastic first/second round pick ups under BB to counter the Chad Jacksons of the world. Jerod Mayo was a result of trading for a high pick, then trading that pick down...then back up
The way it works is, BB did economics at college so he goes for value, if a player is available at say #22, but he projects will still be on the board early in the second round, he will trade down and gain an extra pick (this is how the 09 draft added Butler, Chung and Brace at the top of the second round) I can't believe more teams don't do it tbh.
