Over the last two pages, we have discussed, to varying degrees of depth and intelligence, whether or not Silva, Bebe and Hernandez are good footballers. What do you think of them?
Your last 5 contributions to this thread..
* Contribution to what?
* Over the past two pages you have made references to United, Spurs, Villa and Everton. The teams you are obsessed with
* Am I scouse? Am I a plastic scouse? Do I live in a hovel?
* With tears running down your face.
* Liverpool Airport motto: Above us, only sky. Liverpool FC motto: Below us, only West Ham.
The last post in the list reflects your bitterness and obsession with Liverpool FC. I suggest before you start accusing people of being obsessed with other teams, you take a look at yourself.
Now toddle along and go and talk to your other school mates on Facebook or something.
Why would I get involved in the Manchester pen1sh measuring competition?
My reference of a joke towards my teams arch rivals shows bitterness? I don't think so. Anyway, who does like their local rivals? Nobody. I don't have a problem with other teams for unknown reasons.
You seem the type of person to be driving along a road, a car in front cuts you up who has a Cambridge United sticker on it...so then you hate Cambridge United. You are a plank!!!
I'm 25, not a school boy, I do work with children, you remind me of them, year 5's they are.

You teach? Really? Brilliant. That further strengthens my decision to send my daughter to a prep school.
I don’t know where you get this idea from that I dislike lots of teams. It simply isn’t true. I can assure that out of those you listed, I actually have no issue with Villa. Out of the PL I actually quite like Liverpool, Wolves, Blackburn, Newcastle, Bolton, West Brom and a few others. In terms of fans, my favourites are Arsenal. I also have soft spots for Brighton, Ipswich, Brentford, Barnet and Rochdale. One of those clubs actually sent City down to the Championship.
I will admit I dislike Everton. I cannot stand the club. For many reasons, including: * Racist club * The supporters whinge to the police as soon as a player (one they have probably abused throughout the whole game) flicks the Vs at them * You call yourselves the People’s Club * Your ground is a hovel * The supporters think the club is far more important than it actually is. You think you are as important as Liverpool * The supporters appear to spend a lot of time wallowing in self-pity * The least humourless and interesting supporters I have ever come across

The majority on here have a decent crack and chat about football, you seem to know what you're talking about alot of time with regards to football, butfeel the need to have a pop at United or other teams every chance you get. I dislike Liverpool but don't make it personal or berate them (all the time). I couldn't give a sh*t where they come from, our if they're OOT or JCL's. they all share a comon interest in RL and football which is why they post on here. This thread should have decent debate(which is does at times) and some light hearted banter, not the nasty personal attacks designed solely to upset people. You've probably waited years(34 ) for City to be in with a chance of success and to win trophies. That is on the horizon, try enjoying all that is good about City at the moment instead of attacking others.
1970's called they want their Evertonian stereotype back.

City player this happened too if I remember correctly. Has happened at more than just Goodison, if you are saying only Evertonians have done this you need to get your blinkers off.

We do, your point is?

You're really scrapping the barrell here. That's your opinion other people think it's fine. You got lucky with your own ground, only for the Commonwealth Games you'd be in a similar situation.

Wrong, we're far more important. The problem with statement you say supporters think it's important what the fook else would supporters think!? surely the supporters of any club think their club is most important!?

Where did you get this from? you met every Evertonian, didn't think so. Try again.

Same as above, how did you work this out? have you met every Evertonian, didn't think so.
Not going to happen is it? Fergie himself has said he's happy with the money he gets from Glazers can't believe Rooney has fallen for there lies thinking they are going to listen to him.
Aye, you're right.
We need investment in the side though, and quickly.
Silva is infinitely superior to Little Flea. Do you suggest otherwise? If you do I guess that would make you a typical thick Rag.
The Little Flea nickname came about because in one of the threads about the player on a United forum, some of the posters called him Little Flea. Thus you can credit United fans for that little comedy gem.
Just out of interested, when was the last time Rooney scored an away winner in the CL?
Although I've quoted this, I'm going to try reply to most of your quotes regarding last night's match.
To say it was Bebe's first start for United, I thought he did OK. At times his first touch was terrible, and his decision making was wrong, but for a kid making his debut you have to expect these things. He certainly did better than some of his more senior team mates however.
Carrick was anonymous once again, and Gibson's short passing was woeful. Park (can't believe he got MOTM) also had a poor game IMO, and has had a poor start to the season. Evans looked like he was the least experienced centre back, he was very shaky. I thought Smalling was excellent however, especially in the first half.
I don't think young Amos could've done much with the goals, he wasn't really helped by his defence. Especially for their second when Evans just completely let the Wolves player run straight through.
Macheda looked lost up front on his own, he certainly performs better when he has a strike partner, but he is only 19 so has plenty of time to develop. Although, if rumours around his social life are true, he may not last very long at United unless he sorts it out.
I'm quite surprised you're criticising Hernandez. He's been great so far this season, and has done everything that has been asked of him. His goalscoring instincts are top notch, probably the best at the club TBH. When he's on the field he lifts the team, and is always a threat to the opposition due to his nack of popping up at the right place at the right time - like Rooney did all of last season. If Hernandez keeps his feet on the ground and keeps working hard at his game, there is no reason why he can't go on to great things at the club.
I'm not sure who's criticised Silva, but whoever they are are fairly dumb. He's a brilliant player, and someone who would've been perfect at United if we had an owner who wouldn't mind sticking his hand in his pocket from time-to-time. I've long been an admirer of Silva's and have commented on here quite often about my wishes to sign him. Over time, and if Mancini pays the right tactics, he is only going to get better and better. I think it's wrong to draw comparisons between Silva and Hernandez as they are two different types of footballer.
It's more appropriate to compare Silva with van der Vaart, and the latter has certainly had a better start to his Premier League career, although admittedly, Spurs have built the side around him and given him a licence to do what he wants - something which I believe Silva would thrive in, if he was given the chance.
