That pretty much sums it up. Won't stop most of em crying 'injustice' though.

Thoughts for the derby on Sunday? The only hope I can see for Utd is us fluking some sort of 1-0 win, which city probably won't be too bothered about being top of the league. A Utd win will be seen more as a relief to me rather than something to celebrate wildly (unless it's 1-6).

I think its a game both City & United would rather they weren't playing. I suppose from our point of view there's some benefit in playing United before the more important April game. If we lose, you've got your revenge out of the way, win and it makes the 1-6 less of a fluke. The worst result would be a replay.

The last half dozen Manchester derbies have all been branded "the most important derby ever" and when the draw was made the hype was pretty big too yet there seems to be an incredible amount of apathy about the whole thing.

Every league game has sold out since the first two games this year yet we are struggling to sell this one out despite having knocked back United's request for 7.000 tickets, and that could be very embarrassing. In fact I have just received a begging text asking if I'd like to get my mate a ticket.

But with the league the priority and two Carling Cup Semi-Final games at £40+ each should we be surprised at the time of the year?

I never thought I would say this in a million years but out of the next three home games, United (FAC), Liverpool (CC) and Spurs, then United is the one I'm least bothered about. The only reason I prioritise Liverpool is because that will only require one more relatively straightforward game to win silverware.

The league is the total priority and anything that gets in the way is a burden. I'd rather lose on Sunday than see a replay. United fans may think it's getting my excuses in early but times have changed. There are more important things than local pride.

Fergie saying he thinks Yaya Toure could play on Sunday but they'll both go to AN. Milner and de Jong in centre midfield then? Toure's been an amazing signing for City and someone who would have solved so many headaches at United.
United have done well to keep up with City in the league with the injuries, but they're starting to take their toll now. Still think title race will be tight but that could be a case of heart over head.
City 2-0.

Would normally use the comment about getting your excuses in, however unless we hammer city, which I can't see happening, then we haven't really got anything to shout about. Any sort of routine win for us will be seen as a relief, whereas a win for city will hammer home how much we need to strengthen. Can see this one being a bit of a damp squib from our point of view. Would love see Fergie show a bit of bottle and give Pogba a start but will expect to see a 38 year old left winger playing in centre midfield instead.

Apologies, I am still laughing at your comment that LFC fans believe Suarez didn't racially abuse Evra by using the word negro in the middle of an argument. Maybe the FA could have saved 114 pages of the report and reported back to the club: 'Epic Bantz, lolz.'

Well if you think that's funny, you should see what Ollie Holt wrote about it. Apparently, calling someone a black c*nt can be seen as not racist.
