Very much looking forward to it...it COULD be a very open race if teams have a go at Astana early on, if not it could well be a Contador-led procession...Sastre should be aggressive as defending champ, the Schleck brothers could form a deadly duo, Armstrong/Leipheimer/Kloden could become Astana team-leader if Alberto struggles, Cadel Evans will be his usual gritty self, Menchov (if he's recovered from winning the Giro) could be a factor and there's a couple of up-and-coming contenders in Kreuziger, Nibali and Gesink who could shake it up a little...and all this with Cav looking to win the Green jersey as well...bring it on!! Cav will need major help from his team mates in the mountains to avoid elimination and get to Paris - he's a hopeless climber.

Bit harsh on Cav...I don't think he's a more hopeless climber than his rivals for the green jersey...he just needs to get in a group that'll get hom in time a la O'Grady...he could even be in yellow in the first week with plenty of sprinters' stages and a team time trial as well.

It's never. Cadel Evans couldn't quite hack it last year.

I'm claiming Stephen Roche for us.

Cavendish must be in with a chance of the green, although he could have done without Boonen being let back in.
