The Autumn Wind is a pirate
Blustering in from sea,
With a rollocking song, he sweeps along,
Swaggering boisterously.
His face is weather beaten.
He wears a hooded sash,
With a silver hat about his head,
And a bristling black mustache.
He growls as he storms the country,
A villain big and bold.
And the trees all shake and quiver and quake,
As he robs them of their gold.
The Autumn Wind is a raider,
Pillaging just for fun.
He'll knock you 'round and upside down,
And laugh when he's conquered and won. |
Agree r.e Kurt Warner, credit to the game. The Football Life documentaries have been reaaly interesting.

Massive inspiration and just a great person - watching back when he lost the Super Bowl with Arizona, I was gutted for him, even though he said it didn't matter, the guy deserved another ring. I hope he makes it into the HoF some day. Sounds a great programme and Kurt is a great person too.

What do people make of Brett Favre's comments about Aaron Rodgers? Smacks of jealouy and bitterness to me. Rodgers is taking the quarterback position to a new level this year.

Sad news - even though he made some questionable decisions in the last few years, the guy was a real character and there's no arguing with what he did for and the contributions he made to the game of football. |
