Chicago put up their worst performance of the playoffs last night to lose 3-1 and now are 2-1 behind the Canucks, they will need to improve a lot in the next game or their season could soon be over.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Not a great performance again by the Hawks but managed to dig out the win in OT. Very much a close and tight game with few chances for either team. Hopefully the Hawks can find the speed again that helped them overturn the Canucks last time in Vancouver.

I'm a flames fan. Totally gutted but from the games i watched on setanta they gave away to many penalties which the hawks capitalised on plus the hawks own powerplay defense was outstanding against a pretty much clueless attack. Also the hawks were so much quicker and clinical, once they'd won a game at the dome it was over the flames didn't have enough about them to win on the road. It was their main failing I think this season.

Think the other problem for the flames was their big game players didn't do enough in the series Iginla & Bertuzzi in particular.

Agreed Iginla didn't even seem to get fired up until the last game in chicago when he was starting to get a bit more hot headed and trying to get a bit of fistycuffs going. Though I thought he started the last game well but once the Hawks got that first goal he an d the rest of the teams heads went down and once the second went in it was game over. Bertuzzi for what ever reason didn't turn up for the playoffs. He becomes an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season. It'll be interesting to see if he lines up for teh flames next season.

I'd be suprised if Bertuzzi isn't gone after this season lets face it he's had 4 different teams in as many season since he left the Canucks. Flames need to make some serious changes for next season as they keep failing to deliver when it matters. Even Keenan may struggle to keep his job as head coach. Think Igilna may need to move on too as think he and the Flames need a fresh start.

From the post playoff media interview that Daryl sutters done it would seem he's happy with the core of elite players they have and just a little bit of "tweaking" is needed? Keenan feels he will see out the last year of his contract, the media seem to think that the coaching staff being changed are the" tweaking" that Sutter is going on about. Though the Flames are only one of 5 teams I think, who have made the playoffs in the last 4 consecutive years not making it past the 1st round has been a bone of contention

It would seem that flames fans aren't to happy with bertuzzi's playoff performances and want him gone for good. So he could be gone you never know.

Blackhawks beat the Canucks 4-2 in Vancouver to take a 3-2 lead in the series and heading to Chicago for game 6 so hopefully the Hawks can finish the series at home.

The Blackhawkas dump the Canucks out the Stanley Cup with a 7-5 home win with Kane & Toews having big games and getting 3 pts each, to take the series 4-2 to set up a possible meeting with the Redwings in the Conference finals if Detroit get past the Ducks.

It was nice to hear the'Detroit sucks' chant near the end of the game :D

There were 2 great games last night and maybe i'm a bit biased with the Hawks doing so well but this seasons playoff are the best I can remember for a long time,i can't believe most Americans like Basktball more than Ice Hockey when you get nights like last night.
