Yes. I think Bartoli was there for the fun of it really than focused on the match hence the Mexican wave did well to put up a fight of it played some good shots at times but no Peirce there tom motivate her today. She can take alot out of the tournament and has won over a few fans.

First set was very close and each player made a break of serve, and then held, and so took it into a tie break.

Federer won the tie break though 8 - 6, and takes the first set 7 - 6, and leads by 1 set to 0.
