Rangers and Capitals 1-1 with 9:35 left in the 1st.

Blair Betts taken out of the game thanks to a shocking off the puck challenge by that cock-sucking, gobshite lover Brashear.

He has to be an enforcer because he is absolutely poop at hockey.

Chance for the Blackhawks to get to the next round tonight but it'll be difficult to win in Calgary. It only starts at 2.30 am but luckily it's a day off work for me tommorow so i'll be watching it live.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Great performance by Khabibulin helps Hawks take the series 4-2 with a 4-1 win in Calgary.

Versteeg & Byfuglien also played well as did Burish, Keith & Seabrook. Hawks seemed to want to play the game out once they got the 2 goals and not take too many risks, although had khabibiulin played like he did it could have been oh so different.

The Ducks have ended the Sharks post season taking the series 4-2 which means the Western Conference Semi Final line up is

Redwings v Ducks
Canucks v Hawks

The next round will be a lot harder for the Hawks but if Khabby can keep playing like he has we have got a chance.

If the Ducks can do the Sharks then I'm sure we can do the Canucks. That said I would hope Quennville gets them back to playing with the intensity they showed in games 1,2 & 5.
I don't know if it was me but thought he seemed to play the liokes of Toews, Kane, Sharp & Havlat sparingly last night as Versteeg, Byfuglien, Pahlsson seem to be logging alot of ice time.

Will be a tough series but one I think the Hawks can come through in 5 or 6

Hawks lose game one of the western conference semi against the Canucks in Vancouver 5-3.

Hawks 3 nil down going into the 3rd before tying the game up at 3-3 with less than minute and half to go when a 4 on 2 break away was picked off and Canucks went down the other end and scored then added an empty netter.

Early penalty trouble cost the Hawks dearly.

The Hawks learned by the 3rd period to shoot low at Luongo and pick off the rebounds and it got them 3 goals so hopefully they carry that on into the 2nd game.

Big come back win by the Hawks in Vancouver beating the the Canucks 6-3 after been 2 nil down starting the 2nd period. Seems its taking the Hawks a while to get going or they have more stamina than the Canucks for the 60minutes.

Hopefully 2 wins at home will give them a chance to win the series back in in Vancouver or when they return to Chicago for game 6.

Big win for the Ducks and Carolina against Detroit and Boston repectively and the Caps beating Pittsburgh meaning all the series are tied at 1-1 except for the Caps who lead their series 2-0.
