If I was Real Madrid and I was totally set on Bale, I think I'd have still made a public pursuit of Suarez simply to drive down the price of Bale. ATM Tottenham have managed to virtually screw them for Bale and Real seem to be willing to take it.

The price tag hanging on Suarez. This is where it gets really dangerous for Liverpool. With Bale and Rooney, you pretty much know that if they don't get their moves they'll get over it quickly and play on normally like nothing happened. I don't think either of them would act like the world's biggest **** to get a move.

That simply doesn't apply to Suarez. I think if Real told Suarez they wanted him and made the suggestion that he burn his bridges at LFC to make the move, he'd be blowing up the Mersey tunnels as well.

I've said before that Suarez owes Liverpool a great deal of respect because of everyone they've done for him, but I'm not sure that Suarez would agree with that.

I still think if we don't get Rooney and the Ett'o deal doesn't happen then we might put in a bid for Suarez. I know the Chelsea fans are totally against it, that he's not fit to wear the shirt because of his behaviour, but I think that is BS that they are spouting because they think it will never happen. I think they'd get over the signing of Suarez about 25 seconds after it happened.

Even thought nothing much has happened in this transfer window in terms of major British moves, I still think this window has been massively intriguing.

Well he shown this summer he'd act up in order to get a move, and that was only to Arsenal! If Madrid came in for him I imagine he'd blow up behind the scenes, and if things didn't get rolling he'd use the press as well. Whether that's him or his advisors is irrelevant, he'd do his best to get what he wants, especially after this summer's debacle.

I think only the irresistible would tempt us now, so we'd either need obscene money with a replacement already lined up, or obscene money with a player included in the deal. I can't see either of them happening this late so any club bidding is probably wasting their time.

We still need to spend at least £40m before the window closes if we want to have a remotely OK side to get us through to January, at the moment we are much like last season.

Fergie has previously whined about fixtures in the past. So has Jose Mourinho. They were both talking bo11ocks as well. But they earned the right to talk bo11ocks with their achievements. Moyes hasn't.

Didn't Chelsea insist on playing the Villa game last week, against Villa's wishes? Part of Mourhino's strategy to get to the top of the table early?

We play Bayern Munich on Friday in the European Super Cup. So the game against Villa had to be moved to some other time.

I don't know whether Villa offered a preference, but it seems that Mourinho requested it to be played early.

Lambert chose to whine about it. If he put forward a case for another date (and Villa have a LC game this week too, and there are stupid international dates early in the season) then he will have a complaint if his legitimate choice was rejected instead of Mourinho's choice.) But from the petty whining that Lambert did, I reckon Villa offered no preference and he just whined about it because whining is a huge part of manager's jobs nowadays.

If Chelsea win tonight then we sit top of the table and there seems to be a huge gap between us and United. His "ploy" would have worked. But if Man United win tonight then Man United will sit at the top of the table having played a game less.

To be fair, it was more of a dig at the FA changing their minds on whether they're random or not, I couldn't give a monkeys when the fixtures are

I saw a supposed CFC line up about on the CFC forum an hour ago. I preferred that line up to Jose's.
