I've not heard that rumour, but saw similar on Saturday in the Norwich game, where Baines gave Jelavic a proper mouthful, which I wouldn't have Baines down for normally.
It'd be a shame if he did go, but at the same time, he has begun to show traits of Yakubu in recent weeks - He was another who started off like a house on fire, but gradually turned into a lazyarse....Jelavic is looking similar.
I suppose if he did go in January, we could demand a decent fee, which might not be the case if he was to deteriorate in the way that the Yak did.
Jelavic has been causing me a lot of concern as well. I'm not sure if this rumour about a falling out is true or not, it's probably just down to frustration. If I were Baines, I'd be furious, he's creating more chances than any player in Europe, Everton as a team are creating more chances than any team in Europe and we're nowhere near the top scorers, even in the Premier League.
The 'Moyes curse' that seems to afflict all strikers that have played under him at Everton seems to be striking again. They all seem to start brilliantly, then plateau and stop scoring. It's happened with so many now, the likes of Beattie, Bent, Yakubu, Johnson, Anichebe and now Jelavic.
It'll be interesting to see if Everton do any MLS business this season. Donovan has given us a real boost in recent seasons, but apparently that move isn't happening this year. Cahill perhaps? Stick him up front for a month?

I have no doubt that all issues will be put behind them, at least for tomorrow
....Mancini spouting his usual bollox again after today's game....
Apparently, Everton now treat their games with City as their own Champions League final??....Is this the same Champions League that Mancini can't get his side out of the group stages of, despite spending hundreds of millions??...
Also, Everton only score from set pieces?.....Hmmmmm, well today there was 2 goals scored, and Everton's was the only one from open play?....
He really is a total plank - Its laughable that these billionaire owners waste so much cash hiring these over-rated foreign managers, when they could get decent, equally talented, domestically based ones for a fifth of the salary.

He's tactically non-existent. He just sits there smugly waiting for the quality of the players he has in his team to prove too much for the opposition. Whenever it doesn't, he looks and sounds morally wounded.
When did Anichebe ever start scoring? Do you really believe the sh*t you come up with?
He looked a prospect when he first came through. There was one season when he looked unstoppable in the Europa league and a few thought he was going to push on and become a cracking player. Like all the other Everton strikers under Moyes, it then went flat.
Perhaps we should be talking about the Suaz and his latest attempt to bring severe embarrassment onto Liverpool instead?
