FIFA threatening to kick all Swiss teams out of international competition if FC Sion's legal case isn't resolved by January.
Very harsh on Basel if this is the case....and look who would benefit
Don't worry, even if United get a lifeline, a good hiding off Bayern would be a nice consolation for those who like to watch United have their pants pulled down in Europe....
It would be amusing to watch Harry's reaction if he's told that Spurs are back in the Europa League
Therefore, I believe there is evidence to say that if he has used the term repeatedly there was intent. If there's intent then it's down to him to say what the intent was. In the best case scenario he can say he was looking to wind Evra up to give him some sort of competitive edge. With that response you can decide whether to believe him or not. He has used a word that can be a racial insult (there should be zero discussion over that really) so it comes down to why you think he said it. To wind up Evra or to provoke a player who the Liverpool club know is sensitive on issues related to race?
Now if Liverpool are going to question the integrity of Patrice Evra in an attempt to undermine his position that may be an opportunity to get him off the charges. However, to believe Suarez's word over Evra's is not that easy for me given that he has shown a propensity to influence matches by going beyond good sporting play which is something that I've rarely ever thought of Evra.
you suggesting it was done with the club or kkken's say so there Mc?
When was the last time Everton played in Europe proper? I remember Spanish giants Villareal beating you home and away in 2005 but that was only the qualifiers
They were giants that year, didn't they make quarters or semis? we sent them on their way

Always rated Bryan Ruiz, said we should of signed him. Have a look at his goal on MOTD tonight.
Really? I've no doubt he has ability but he's not settled particularly well. Would you be happy with his return? 2 goals and many below standard performances.
Must admit David Moyes is really annoying me now. Home to Norwich and it's 1 up front and a midfield featuring Phil Neville.
Norwich have one shot on target and score. Everton wait till the 70th minute to bring Stracquilursi and Drenthe on and end up with 15 shots on target and almost win.
He's far, far too cautious. Had Stracquilursi and Drenthe started and they had gone for it, they would have won by three or four. I can understand one up front and caution against the big teams but not at home to Norwich.

I think a parting of the ways could/should be on the cards....Moyes is going stale in the Goodison hotseat - I don't think Everton have a particularly poor squad....Yes, it is lacking in numbers and, since Arteta and Pienaar's departures, lacks craft, but they have a number of players who so-called bigger clubs would happily have in their squad, yet Moyes continues to be negative and then seems mystified when he fails to beat the likes of Norwich, QPR and Stoke at home.
The problem Moyes may have is that he has no pressure on him....The Everton finance woes and the whole Kenwright situation gives Moyes that added comfort of knowing the media will always be on his side....Even if the worst was to happen and they got relegated, Moyes would still be exempt from media criticism because of the sympathy he has because of his spending restrictions.
Personally, I've always found him infuriating.....Yes, I've enjoyed the stability he has brought to the club, but his style of football has never won me over....I must admit I've always been amused by those in the media who believe he can replace Ferguson at United....He wouldn't last 6 months at Old Trafford before the crowd turned on him, due to his negative tactics.

Absolutely spot on mate, brilliant post and I wouldn't disagree with one word of it. It sums up out position perfectly and it's accuracy is spot on, top post.
Most outside would be stunned reading that because they see Moyes, through the media, as being some sort of untouchable hero because of what he's done. If only they watched us, they'd all see it differently.

More pertinently; why are FIFA getting involved, in a UEFA based situation?
Cos didn't the Swiss FA go up to the Court of Arbitration (or whatever its actually called) to get the decision overturned, which is at FIFA level and not UEFA?
I have just heard that Sion have taken it to a Civil Court! I would have thought they would be immediately dismissed on those grounds alone.
