Davey Moyes caught the ball that was bouncing away down the tunnel, which would have meant a half hour delay as City would have had to hire a 'executive playing reticule retreival expert' to go and get it. Moyes was about to throw it to the City player, but was delayed slightly because he was chatting to Louis Saha about how easy it was to beat City. Mancini comes flying over slapping the ball from his grasp, causing a delay in the game. I personally think Mancini's motives were to cause a controversy and somehow reduce the playing time, thus reducing the embarassment Moyes' men were able to inflict on his expensively assembled mercenary squad.
After watching the match again the best bit was old Joleon's face after they panned to him when Everton made it 2-0.
