I'm sure a few clubs would take him if the price was low, but the PR risk is too much for the big clubs. A lot of them have ethical policies and/or corporate partners and sponsors that wouldn't be compatible with a known racist with violent tendancies.

Perhaps Liverpool should revisit Arsenal's £30m offer? I don't see that being bettered any time soon and I'm not sure I'd want a sulking Suarez around the place.

Suarez is worth more than £30m to Liverpool.

Clubs clearly would want him. The problem is that he's difficult to value given his time bomb nature.

No football club has ethical policies which are worth the paper they are printed on. Results trump ethics.

Not if he's sulking he's not. A season from Suarez doing a Carlos Tevez impression would do Liverpool no good.

Perhaps though a deal is in place, as it's in the press today that Soldado is going to Liverpool. Maybe it's just a case of sign the replacement before letting him go.

What are Spurs up to though? Surely they need a striker fit for their ambitions to break the top 4?

I can understand Suarez would be disappointed to still be at Liverpool when the possibility of him moving to a new club looks so good for him.

But to pretty much put the blame on Liverpool and sulk because he didn't get his way, he would need some serious attitude re-adjustment treatment to sort his defective brain out over that.

LFC have tied themselves in knots accommodating him. They've done everything they could, bar naming the club Suarez FC, to demonstrate their willingness to do anything for him.

I think Liverpool would sell him to Real Madrid. They just want a fair price for him. It is Real Madrid trying to nick him on the cheap that is the problem, not LFC asking too much.

If Suarez stays at Liverpool and sulks because of it then I think that will be by far the worst thing he's done in his career. My dislike of Liverpool is pretty big, but there's is no way on earth that Suarez can do LFC bad after the support they have given him.

The least Suarez owes LFC if he ends up staying is that he gives his all so that he can maybe move in Jan for a fair market price. If he was to sulk to force a move then I think he's pretty close to being worthless as a football player. ATM I would still accept Suarez in a heartbeat. But if he's going to spit in LFC's face now then that would be too much.

(Jesus Christ. I want Sturridge to fulfil his potential and I want Suarez to do right by LFC. I need a lie down.)

We do, although not necessarily Ince.

His problem is that he's working for a club that regards trading in players as part of its core business. All of those one year deals? He's made the mistake of taking a job without understanding the club's strategy. And now he's trying to find someone else to blame for his mistake.

Abroad, quite possibly. I don't really think it works the same over here though, they either seem to be frustrated managers causing a power struggle, or glorified scouts/transfer negotiators.

Harford's chosen the assistant manager job at Millwall instead, anyway.

We would be better off as a footballing nation if ALL British managers worked on their skills and their education so they became the best managers that they can be.

There is no bar on British managers. When Sam Allardyce whines that all the top jobs go to foreigners and he's not getting a chance, he's ignoring the fact that virtually every foreign manager who has got a top job in the PL is so much better than him that it's a joke that Allardyce even dares make that complaint.

But English football would get along fine without most of the awful British managers that pollute the Premier League.

Paul Ince MIGHT make it as a football manager. I have no idea what he is like as a manager. He has a very good career as a player to build upen. He has great recognition from that playing career. He's got his foot in the door. But demonstrating the stupidity he has to interviewers on a few occasions is the absolute best way to kill his career (along with losing 20 games in a row and fist-fighting with your players).

The worst prospect of all is that Ince fails as a manager and becomes a pundit. Jesus Christ that doesn't bare thinking about.
