Considering Donte Stallworth got effectively a slap on the wrist (about as much as you get for failing a drug test in the NFL) for taking a life, arguing that Vick should be punished more heavily than he has been (both in football and in general social terms) is ridiculous.
I don't buy the he has already been banned while in jail. If, while serving his jail time, he was not suspended he still couldn't play so it isn't an effective punishment.
I agree on the Stallworth point, both him and Vick should never play in the NFL again. EVER.
He also should have got a hell of a larger sentence from the normal US justice system than 30 days.
Pacman got a year for whatever he did (not sure but it wasn't killing animals/people) yet Vick is only getting at most 6 games.
