The attitude of senior FIA figures appears to be that the sport could not exist without the Ferrari marque in it, whereas it could manage quite nicely without a company who don't even manufacture road cars.

It's an attitude repeated up and down the various bodies involved in F1 including the manufacturers own organisation, of which the Ferrari chief is spokesperson.

There's never a dull moment in F1, but the controversy makes great talking points, I'm Hamilton has had all his points taken from him.
From the Metro Fantasy F1, I got 62 points from lat week too.

F1 is a complete joke now, if ferrari don't score any points thenthe FIA do all they can to make sure its rival don't.

After last season when Hamilton was done for passing Raikkonen over the corner and then yeilding to allow Raikkonen to regain the place Hamilton for me did the right thing in asking the question of should he let Trulli through.
Its interesting that when McLaren asked the race director/stewards whether or not Hamilton should let Trulli back through they got no repsonce at all so McLaren took the decision themselves.

For me if McLaren/Hamilton hadn't let Trulli through they would have been done most probably for passing Trulli under yellows (even though he had gone off the track). Be interesting to see if there is anything about passing cars off track whilst under yellows?

F1 is no longer about racing but back stabbing and court cases.

To be fair he does seem like somebody your either a fan of or you hate him.

He's abit of a cry baby and i'm not really as much of a fan as i was last year.

McLaren's decision to suspend their sporting director over this clearly shows they know they did nothing wrong and this is a FIA conspiracy to benefit Ferrari.
