City should approach Madrid in the summer and do everything possible to make Jose Mourinho their big summer 'signing'.
They need someone that can deliver instant success. There are a lot of good young managers on the continent yet to sample English football, so could end up with another Vilas-Boas outcome.
They've obviously got plenty of top strikers, midfield is good enough but defence could do with improvement. When missing first choice defenders they struggle. Savic isn't good enough to step in as back up, he's cost them points on a regular basis. Send him out on loan, and if he doesn't improve then get shot. Could probably do with decent back up and a big name centre half, someone like Chiellini.
As for Liverpool at Newcastle today, they'll obviously have a chance against our patched up back four. However, if we take the game to them and can get in front then I'd be confident of holding it, due to Dalglish's lack of a plan B and general crap tactics. Cisse is in irresistible form, him and Ba have such menacing movement there is always going to be a chance for goals. Ben Arfa is getting a chance somewhere he can do damage as well. Hopefully can nick a couple of early goals and then try and shut them out. As long as it doesn't end in the same way the Wolves game did after attempting that game plan.
