If Moyes was about to hand the ball to the Citeh player then why did he still have the ball when Mancini reached him?

If Moyes had no intention of time wasting, why did the ball end up in his far hand and being thrown towards the crowd behind his back?

Mancini saw Moyes was time-wasting for a Citeh thrown in. He went to retrieve that ball. Moyes chucked it away, Mancini went after the ball and threw it to the Citeh player. Moyes then squared up to him.

Mancini's not innocent in this. He was probably pi55ed at the defeat and barged into Moyes when he saw Moyes taking the pi55. But Moyes was being an ar5e and got the treatment he deserved.

The FA shouldn't dignify the petty incident with a response. It's already been over-reacted to by the ref.

Of course Moyes was time wasting. But that's for the ref to rule on, not Mancini.

Moyes hates City, you can tell that from his reaction. Moyes does however have a point. The constant appealing for yellow cards from City was embarassing.

Well there's a bit of progress there. In your last post you were saying Moyes was just about to give the Citeh player the ball.

Moyes hates City, you can tell that from his reaction. Moyes does however have a point. The constant appealing for yellow cards from City was embarassing.

TBH I couldn't care less about players appealing for opponents to be booked.

But for me it smacks of childishness from Moyes. Both Mancini and Moyes have been sent to the corner for their little fight. But Moyes has decided to tell teacher something else that Mancini's done wrong.

Some would argue that waving imaginary cards in front of the referee is childish.

Sport is childish.

Arguing on the internet is childish.

I guess there are different levels. If a player is trying to con the referee to book an innocent player that's wrong. I also guess there is a difference between first and second yellow cards, although I don't really think there should be.

But in general there are lots of times where a ref looks like he won't give a totally deserved card unless he gets pressured into it.

For me the whole issues around cards show the the biggest inconsistencies with reffing. In the first twenty minutes players will get away with bad challenges, but someone will get a booking 70 minutes into the game for the same offence. There's leniency often shown for horrendous challenges, but the referees are ultra strict when it comes to taking your shirt off after a goal or kicking the ball away.

Pathetic. That's what that little pushy push push thing was. Alot of sexual tension if you ask me. Why is everyone kicking off anyway? Read todays rag and Smith broke his nose, Rocha staright to hospikal, the Newcastle training ground bust up and I'm sure I saw something at Leicester vs Reading?

Everton Team Spirit

Ssshhhh EE

P.S. What was that about lack of class and your manager by the way???

Our manager still has plenty of class he was well within his rights to do what he did. Maybe Moyes should show managers who have actually won a trophy a bit of respect.

Only scousers come on here to gloat after a win. You won't find City or United fans gloating after a game.

We lost as we couldn't create anything. Everton defended well but we dismayed a lack of ideas. It was not a lack of team spirit. Ireland going off after about 30mins had an effect on the balance of the match as it looked we were going to win comfortably. When at Goodison Park we also lost two players to injury early in the game. Our lack of an AM is clearly showing.

De Jong was awful but that is to do with the combinations in midfield rather than the individual parts. You can't have De Jong andBarry in the same midfield it makes us one-paced and lacking in creativity. Barry is certainly better than Carrick....according to one of the best managers in the world, Capello. And you are?
