Yup. If you detach yourself from the drama of it all it doesn't make much difference. A draw at home simply ain't good enough.

United even further in the driving seat, still, just not as bad as it could have been.

Still game over for me...only injuries to key personnel still available will stop M.U now.

The draw is a real poor result for city.

Ignoring the comeback, it's another 2 points dropped and another 2 points united can gain on them.

They still have to go to the likes of arsenal and newcastle. The title is slipping away week by week.

You just never know though

This dramatic point could end up winning city the title!

United have to go to blackburn who are scrapping for their lives, lose that and suddenly it's right back in the balance!

Exactly, the fixtures (on paper) are heavily in favour of United (a pro-United conspiracy from the FA no doubt)...! Being the pessimist that i am though Im always expecting us to drop points somewhere along the line, starting with Blackburn on Monday night, but who knows. Keen to know the neutrals view on whether they'd prefer United or City to win it. years gone by id have thought it would be City by a mile, but with all their cash/drama/gobby players etc i get the feeling that a lot of people would enjoy City falling on their face

I passionatly want city to win it but if things carry on as they are united will have richly deserved it and city can have no complaints.

With the fixtures as they are, I think city's title hopes will fade gradually by the week. It could be the case that by the time the billed ''title decider'' United may only need a point to seal the title.

I thought the quality city had would see them pick up the points needed but it seems i was wrong.

And so you aim towards the sky,
And you'll rise high today,
Fly away, Far away,
Far from pain....

Re: The Football Chat (cont) : Sat Mar 31, 2012 4:37 pm
   .....You have to laugh at City - Stinking rich or penniless, they always manage to give the footballing public somebody to point at and just p!$s your sides at.

As I rightly pointed out just a week or so back, Mancini is a talentless cock who will be back in Italy with his tail between his legs come June, because he is a very, very average manager, who has managed to totally balls up what should have been a stroll in the park to a Premier League title.

I'd be thinking the Sheikh might just be wondering what he has bought himself into.....Perhaps the realisation that you can't simply buy success, might just see him losing his interest in a sport or a club he has no association or love for.

I would be truely amazed if Blackburn won on Monday...apart from way back in 1992 Fergie's lot don't throw it away in the run in. Plus teams here still have an inferior complex against them even though they are knowhere near the vintage Fergie teams of the past (which will explain how European teams haven't been too troubled playing them this year).

Ok they may drop a couple of points here and there but City are on a major wobble and i doubt they can go to the Emirates and beat Arsenal soon.

As a Rovers fan i'm expecting United to wipe the floor with us on monday and we'll be back in the bottom 3 where we'll stay until the end of the season.Maybe then the media love in with Kean will end and everybody will realise what a useless clown he is.
He's come out this week saying he's getting e-mails and letters off people saying they were wrong about him and they're sorry but i'd like him to prove it as I know quite a few Rovers fans and not one has changed their mind about him and still all think we've nothing but a future in the championship or worse with him as manager.
