Because he's a whinger who claims all the credit if he wins and shifts all the blame when he doesn't. He's another Mick Doohan, a decent rider on a powerful bike who shines on the straighter circuits. He just has a more competitive field and the goat to contend with in comparison to Doohan.

It's nothing to do with him being an Aussie, it's because he's a bad loser. I was a fan of Mick Doohan, although it has to be said, at the time when he was riding Motorcycle Grand Prix was becoming really boring due to the fact that the Honda was so superior to anything else out there at the time.

I am also a fan of both Troy Corser and Troy Bailiss in World Superbikes.



Rossi is still the best out there and is a great character even when he loses whereas Stoner behaves like a spoilt child.

Lorenzo is staying at Yamaha it seems as there was a possibility Honda were after him. Rossi seems to be staying at Yamaha next season too.

I'd expect Lorenzo to stay at Yamaha but I don't think it's sorted yet. There is the small issue of Ben Spies who Yamaha are keen on fast-tracking into MotoGP.



How they go about that is the big question. He'll have to go to Tech 3 (no rookies allowed at factory teams) which [ishouldn't[/i affect Lorenzo but then of course, budgets come into play. Spies will command a pretty big salary given the market potential he has and Yamaha have already said that they aren't interested in a bidding war to keep Lorenzo.

If Spies goes to Tech 3 it could be bye-bye to Toseland as I can't see them dumping Edwards.

I'd expect that anyway to be honest, he doesn't seem to be kicking on enough this year.

That's one option. The other is whether Edwards decides to call it a day.



By all accounts, he's costing Tech 3 more than they initally wanted to be paying out anyway and the question is whether Edwards actually feels motivated enough to continue.



He's a good rider no question but he's pretty much resigned to the fact that he isn't going to be challenging at the top. He could well just decide to call it a day.

The sport is massively weighted in favour of factory riders at present. For the likes of Toseland and even riders like Colin Edwards (who is a better rider than Moaner IMO), it's a thankless task.
