Hull could have finished it today.

Newcastle have Jussi to thank and Hull have a massive thanks to give to Roy Hodgson and Fulham.

Next week will be surreal, I'm just glad Hull have it in their own hands and their destiny lies to them only.

Boro all but gone, West Brom most probably to follow.

Newcastle, Hull, Sunderland.

Mickey Mouse? The competition that the Italians and the South Americans aim for above the Champions League/Copa Libertadores?

The only reason people see that as a Mickey Mouse competition is because no other English club has ever managed to win it. A bit like the European Cup was viewed as Mickey Mouse when it first appeared - hence the reason Chelsea were not the first English club to take part in it like they should've been.

If Liverpool had won it in 2005 we'd never have heard the end of it...

Every footballer wants to win the highest possible award and I'd say a trophy you can only qualify for by winning the European Cup is probably the highest domestic award you can get.
