It's only preseason but jeez, i've missed it. Anyone watching a game tonight? I'm all over the Ravens and Eagles.

Unless I can find a link that works on my ps3 I'm not gonna watch any of the pre-season, my PC is very temperamental atm when it comes to streaming videos, need to get it sorted for the regular season or I will only have the games that are on sky/espn/channel4 to watch.

As I just told you on Facebook when you tried to belittle my status.... The Best part about preseason is seeing what the rookies are like in game situations and also seeing which backups look like they might be worth a shot. The best thing about the NFL is not many are guaranteed to be playing season on season because someone is always there to take your job.

I'll be watching the Super Chargers (soon to be of LA ) tonight.

I'm just interested to see how the rookies do. Especially at ILB. We have Spikes who will obviously start, but the other spot is Butler's to lose apparently. We drafed in him the 3rd round last year but lost him to injury in training camp. He's looked very impressive by all accounts. In addition we have Mouton who was a 2nd round pick this year and at the time I thought it was a horrible reach. From what I'm hearing though, he's tearing up camp. Bundles of energy.

In the backfield we have 2nd round draft choice Marcus Gilchrist from Clemson who will likely be the nickel back this year. Shareece Wright has sligt injury that will keep him out which is a shame.

Sperry at TE will also be nice to see, I thought he had potential last year and if he's improved his blocking he'll be ailed on as the 3rd TE behind Gates and McMichael.

I'll be nice to see what the UDFA's do wih only a couple of weeks in training camp. I'd be surprised to see any of them stick on the roster.

On a side note, I've just got "Take Your Eye Off The Ball" by Pat Kirwan. A cracking read about the details of football. Not for the novice, but I'm sure it will improve my enjoyment of the games this year (if that's possible).

As it's only preseason i'll be sky+ the ESPN game and watching it tomorrow.If it was the regular season i'd be staying up to watch it.

I've got the Ravens v Eagles game on at the moment.

I'm wondering whether starters will see more playing time this pre-season to make up for the lack of team practice time they've had during the off season

The new kick off rule is going to be terrible. Kickoffs in this and the NE game are clearing the endzones!
