Not a fan of it myself, prefer netminders to be in the net until they either have a stinker or the team loses by more than 2 goals as otherwise you don't tend to get the best out of them.

Huet needs games and a run of them to see the best of him but maybe Quenneville sees this as the best way of getting the most out of them both. Still think when it gets nearer the play offs he'll pick one as his No.1 and he may just be keeping them both active and fresh until then?

Big win for the Hawks at the Saddledome in the quest for the play offs beating the Flames 5-2.

Hawks go third on pts in the conference (2pts above Flames) but stay in 4th place as Flames are seeded 3rd due to being Divisional leaders.

Quenneville again makes one in one out changes between the pipes with Khabibulin back in.

Hawks hammered by the Canucks 7-3. The one in one out switching costing the Hawks with Huet making the start then getting pulled after 20 mins.

Blackhawks recover from their loss in Vancouver with a 3-1 win against the Thrashers in Atlanta.

Quenneville singled Khabibulin out for his starring role in the win turning away 36 shots, saying 'we played poorly but he didn't and he was the reason we won tonight'.

I see Sean Avery has now cleared waivers and will be playing in the AHL with the Hartford Wolf Dogs (the Rangers affiliate team) after agreement between the Stars & Glen Sather. So may see hiim return to the Rangers after the end of this season?

Chicago get back home from their 8 game road trip and beat the Stars 6-2.The one bad thing from the game is what could be a bad injury to Sharp.

Leafs beat the Pens in Toronto on a Saturday again, coming back from 2-0 down to win 6-2, scoring five 3rd period goals with Jason Blake getting two in 19 seconds and only being denied a third by an excellent save by Fleury.

Pens looked anything but a team hoping to make the playoffs.
