To be fair, last season everyone on the Raiders killed the Chargers.

The top TE free agent I can think of is Kevin Boss. Christ. Should have traded for Greg Olsen.

True. Even some of the Chargers killed the Chargers!!

Miller is the one player in the Raiders team, maybe the AFC West I thought had a hoodoo against us. Every game, regardless of result he was outstanding.

I'd argue he's the most underrated TE in the league.

The only guy's I'd place above him are Witten/Gates/Clark.

Lack of knowledge there pal. Boss is a good tight end. Last time I looked he had a ring as well. The Giants have a much better set of recievers so Miller will get more targets.

However Boss has had Eli Manning throwing to him consistently.

Miller's had to make do with: Culpepper, Josh McCown, Russell, Walter, Gradkowski, then finally Campbell

He's also been the only threat we actually had until last season when DMac, Ford, Bush & Murphy really stepped up.

I do rate Boss, just he's an inferior version of Miller IMO for what he actually offers.

Running a 1 gap 4-3 in training camp so far.

Cunningham-Wilfork-Haynesworth-Osi will be the line if they manage to land him.

Also had Matt Roth in for a workout yesterday and Raheem Brock in today so if 2 of the 3 are signed, Cunningham might end up being a backup

Surely you don't even need to bother with a secondary when you have the "most destructive DT in the game" alongside the "best NT" in the game?
