Poor players, believe me. I'm not saying Roy is an all-out foreign player lover, just that MON seems against signing players from abroad. I think at Villa, only Carew and Salifou were his non-British based signings, whilst it's a similar figure at Celtic.

Roy likes old average players, they're easy to coach and they suit his coaching style well, but he at least tries to delve into foreign markets.

At least Hodgson didn't sign Heskey. And make him the highest paid player at the club. Now that would be stupid.

For any of the United fans who didn't see Bebe for Portugal today, here's a pretty decent view of him: http://twitter.com/karlsentk Just nosey through his 'tweets' 'til you find him talking about the Portugal game. He sounds like what I thought, lots of natural physical talent, but little brains/sharpened ability. Couple of tweets about Everton's new Portuguese signing there as well, sounds alright.
