I'm not sure how querying the opponents team spirit on the eve of a game helps a manager's team.

EE, you're the one with the obsession.

Everton play Man City tonight and he's been asked a question about City...and answered it...shock, horror.

Besides, what Moyes has said is true, in a nut shell, City don't have the same team spirit as what Everton do, which is true, simples.

Tottenham for fourth place please boss.

It may well be true, and its to be expected that Moyes would make that point to his players in private. Its also a valid point to make publicly after a win. Not sure its that clever to make it publicly before a match.

And I'm sure that Moyes is sufficiently experienced at ducking questions he doesnt want to answer.

For me everything Moyes says is pretty much spot on. I don't see anything there for Citeh to be offended by or respond to.

The point Moyes makes about the Citeh players not knowing what it means to be a Citeh player, I agree with. I'd even go as far as saying what it means to be a Citeh player hasn't even been determined yet. Before the Sheikh, there's every chance that SWP would have stayed for the rest of his career as a Citeh favourite. ATM he faces an unsure future because he just might not be good enough for where Citeh want to be. Is CL qualification going to be the benchmark of success for Citeh, or will Citeh only be happy when they are winning leagues and CL's?

But one thing I think Citeh can throw back to Everton. If the speculation surrounding Lescott lead to them being smashed 6-1 at home in their first match, and disrupted the start of the season, then honestly how good is the spirit inside that club? If Everton's spirit was as strong as they claim they wouldn't have suffered in the manner they did.

If you can back that up with any evidence then that would be great.

Everton fans and Moyes are extremely bitter. They have an issue with us having a wealthy owner and bcause of the Lescott saga. Moyes handled it all very badly and team spirit was shown to be lacking in the aftermath.

Our team spirit is excellent. I would be interested to hear anything to the contray. If you cannot provide anything that backs up your story then I will be inclined to think you are full of $hit. Nothing new from Fresh Prince.

I refer you to the bile that Moyes came out with in the match programme earlier in the season. Thankfully our manager has more class than Moyes.

So if he did want to answer, which he did, whats the problem?

City players are hardly going to be up in arms about what he has said are they?

The 6-1 beating by Arsenal had nothing to do with 'spirit'. It was due to Arsenal being superb. That said it was a freak result.
