Made up to see Yakubu is on the plane and in the squad, we've missed him badly. Cracking return in the reserves too 70 mins, a goal and made Gosling's goal. Bilyaletdinov could be just what we need, seems can play right across the midfield and first time since Kanchelskis we a proper out and out winger. It is looking good again squad wise, as you say just need the points.

I'd be really happy if Distin came in also, good, experienced centre half who can lead the line and keep Yobo from dreaming which he tends to do. Moyes has said he would be disappointed if he didn't have at least four new faces in by Tuesday!!

Am I right in saying, Bily (for short) won't be here for another two weeks?

I'm guessing Moyes has told him to rest up and stuff because the Russian league plays during our summer or something?

Is he?

You actually know how much Gerrard and Torres are on :?

It's well documented that Gerrard is on 120k a week. In fact, a newspaper (think it was the Mirror) ran an expose on all Liverpools players wages a couple of years ago when it was shown that Riise was on 55k a week for being a ginger chancer. Where as Riise, Kewell etc had 4-6 flights a year home plus other allowances, Gerrard was on a straight amount of 120k. I'll see if I can dig it out.

So, no I can't categorically tell you how much they earn but an educated guess would have Johnson on more than Gerrard. Torres has reportedly signed a 110k a week contract extension a couple of weeks ago.

Whis Lenny was still here. What would he say about Eduardo last night? Even Wenger couldn't really defend him.

"I do not go as far to say Eduardo dived.

"He went down, for what reason I do not know. Having seen it again on television, it doesn't look a penalty."

The Gunners boss added: "I believe really that it was not a penalty but I am also not sure that the keeper didn't touch him with his right knee, having seen it again.

"I do not think he (Eduardo) would have complained if the penalty was not given.

"Is it acceptable? I never asked in my life any guy to dive to win a penalty but sometimes the players go down because there is no other way to escape the tackling of the keeper. Sometimes they dive."

Well he will from you lot as the bitterness and jealousy oozes out of every pore.

Enjoy spending your money on an aged City reject defender who can't head a football.

I'm not 'bitter'.

We all know you have an obsession with Everton due to your working day in Bootle.

p.s. I won't be spending any more on a City reject. The team I follow might.

...............can't help but think of that Harry Enfield sketch..."we're considerably richer than yow!"

You are correct sir, we won't see Bily in a blue shirt until the Fulham game on September 13th. We signed him in Hamburg because he can enter Germany without anymore paperwork but after signing he returned home to sort out the formalities like visa etc, Russia have to play Wales a week on sat so I think once he comes over with them he will join up with the squad from then.

Lenny used to tell us that Wenger showed any player who dived 'the door', I'm not going to hold my breath on that one.
