He did well because he had Welker and Moss to throw the ball to. He was good at short passes and that is it. He is 16th in passes of 20 yards or more (37) and 18th in passes of 40 yards or more (6). Considering the fire power he had he should have been far more effective deep. Plus he was the most sacked QB. Is that a lack of mobility or a poor line? I'd lean towards lack of mobility, he was sacked 47 times compared to Brady with 21 the previous year with the same O-line.

Lack of mobility? Have you even seen Cassell play?He get's sacked more because he runs more, he has good scrambling ability if that makes sense. Also in relation to his numbers he was playing conservative for the first 8-10 games.

Yes.

If he was running more it wouldn't be a sack it'd simply be a tackle. If your saying he runs more then it shows poor decision making if he runs and doesn't make it back to the line or is sacked.

Other good rushing QB's evidently have less sacks behind worse lines. Rodgers for instance has 34. Big Ben who is ofter the one people say isn't mobile has one less sack to Cassell.

Not if it's a broken play and he's rolling out for example, seem to be a bit biiter about Cassell for some reason.

If it is broken play he should throw the ball out of bounds instead of taking a sack and a loss of yards.

I'm not bitter about him, i just don't rate him. He is being elevated to a level that he shouldn't even be anywhere near simply because he played for the Patriots and had an OK season. People (in the media not you) are so over-hyping him it is untrue.
