He's taken the £££ and joined Chelsea. Chelsea made him an offer of silly silly money. City could have matched it but they already have lots of players on silly silly money, so there comes a point where too many players on silly silly money costs you a lot of money and harms your chances of abiding by the new Fair Play rules.

Why did Qatar get the world cup despite the fact it would mean players running around in 40oC heat? Why did South Africa get the world cup despite it meaning hundreds of thousands of people having their homes bulldozed to make way for white elephant stadiums? Why do players look to move club every two or three seasons? Why are players able to hold clubs to ransom, making them jump through hoops? Why does the gap between the Premier League and the Football League grow wider by the year? Why does anything happen in soccer?

I didn't think ukraine and poland would have alot of money. They're just sh*t eastern european countries that no one gives a f*ck about.
