I see that Romania have made 11 changes to the team that lost 43-8 to Argentina for when they face England. This is in order to ensure that they can concentrate on the game against Georgia and come away from the World Cup with at least one win. Is this really a credible international tournament?
I can imagine the wedding night: "Crouch...touch...pause...engage...oh sorry love, I've collapsed again" "It's the eye-gouging I'm more worried about".

Aussie's running in tries for fun in another one sided contest. No doubt the powers will be will do a press release at the end of the world cup saying how many tries have been scored in a try fest world cup.

They're focussing on the Georgia game because if they lose that they'll likely have to qualify for the next World Cup IIRC.
The smaller teams do seem to have been stuffed by the scheduling this year. The big sides get a full week off between their games, while the little guys are expected to back up after playing midweek.

Poor Romania, it was like men against dwarves out there.
More trouble at t'mill. Rugby World Cup costs us millions and must change, says New Zealand. Steve Tew, the NZRU chief executive, has warned that competing at the World Cup has cost his union more than NZ$13m (£7m), a loss it could ill afford at a time when player costs were rising and the world economy was stagnating.

was watching an nfl doco. on one of their teams and they used the term bomb to describe those long high passes from quaterback to running back and i think gibson took that idea, realized you cant throw the ball forward in RL and adapted it to a "bomb" kick we have

Something's gotta give. The IRB have a strangle hold over everything and if the rules aren't relaxed, then I reckon after 2019.....they won't be able to command the hosting fees they have achived up to now. Sponsors should be included in the hosting rights...if need be, add to the hosting costs, but you have to let the host union make a profit. The RFU have a target of 3,000,000 fans at the 2015 comp.....they have paid 80 million pounds for the rights to host it.......I reckon at 50 quid a ticket, they will be hard pressed to break even..........and believe me, any soccer grounds used will not be referred to by their "sponsors" names.....the Westpac Stadium here in Wellington has had the Westpac removed and it is now referred to as the Wellington regional Stadium....
