Just admit it, if Athletic Bilbao were the more successful of the two clubs it would be trendy to follow or proclaim them, not Barcelona.

You can give it a rest with your social history crap, I'm friends with, and have worked with, plenty of Catalans, Basques and Spaniards who lived through the dictatorship - I'll take their word on things over people trying to justify why they have a fanboy liking for one of the world's most successful football teams thank you very much.

The only players who are banned are Abidal and the Brazilian fullback (name escapes me).

I knew Sylvinho was still there but he does not get too many games I don't think?
