Which team would have been in a more positive frame of mind and looking forward to it more going into the shootout: Chelsea or Bayern? Repeat the exercise for any game you've ever seen ending in a shootout.
Exactly.
Penalty shootouts benefit the worse team - that's just plain bare-faced fact. I'm a little bemused how anyone could reasonably argue otherwise?
