What are you after, LGJM? Do you want everybody to say they hate these people as much as Terry?
I hate Ferdinand, Giggs, Cantona and whoever, but Terry is still an absolute cunt and just about everything about him irritates me. From the media love-in about his ability, to his own stupid arrogance making him think he's bigger than his club and country. I've never hated somebody I don't know more than John Terry, the man is up there with the peds of the world.

All I'm doing is pointing out that everything Terry has been done has been equalled, and in many cases far surpassed, by a bunch of players Mark will class as "heroes".
You are free to form any irrational hatred you wish. It doesn't mean that I, as a Chelsea fan, have to accept your irrational hatred as the truth.
I could care less about practically any of those cases.
I just find it ridiculous that the indiscretions of JT are amplified while other, far worse, indiscretions of a bunch of other players have been almost totally ignored.
Unlike Robby, there's not a player I've mentioned who I would say I even dislike. Rio Ferdinand pushes it, because he's done virtually everything Terry is accused of, then a bunch more, adds on a bunch of hypocrisy and I suspect him of being heavily involved behind the scenes over the AF/JT fall out. But as I don't know him and only know small details of the things he's done, I'm not going to hate him over it.
I leave that to the stupid sheep like Robby, and the crowd of Robbies on here who have been whipped into a frenzy by the modern media.

plenty of united fans I know think Rio is a dick though, brilliant player in his prime, but a bit of a dick (as many players are). That said, if I had millions in the bank, fanny on tap and ridiculous adulation I'd probably have landed myself in a scrape or two over the years

Modern media? How'd you work that out? I hate almost everything I see or hear about John Terry. It's nothing to do with the media, IMO he's loved by many and he's been worshipped as a great player for many years when I've always felt he was average to decent at best. If I believed the media, I'd believe Terry is brave, a leader amongst men and one of the greatest defenders to have ever lived. Fortunately for myself, I don't go with the media's BS and usually do what you do -- form my own opinion and go from there. You don't have to accept my opinion or hatred as fact, to be honest there's very little you can do to change it, so you should probably just get on with it. My dislike of Terry comes from more than just the 'incidents', it's his general ways, his behaviour on the pitch, his alleged behaviour in getting rid of a few managers and so many more things.
You, who acknowledge that you hate him as much as a paedophile, put him down as average to decent at best. The professional football players who vote for the World XI of the Year have voted him into that team 5 times, equalling the amounts that the two best players on this planet have been in.
As a captain, he's lead Chelsea to three Premier League titles, four FA Cups, two League Cups and a Champions League win.
If you don't think Terry shows bravery on the field, then you are obviously blinded by your hatred.
I don't know how good Terry is compared to the rest of the players playing today because I only watch CFC. But I know that throughout his CFC career I'd put him up amongst the most important players we have had.
But hey, enjoy your Gerrard-led fight to mid table mediocrity while we top the table and mount our defence of the CL trophy. At least Stevie Me can never be accused of being hyped by the media.

You don't rate John Terry and you don't rate Jose Mourinho too highly either.
Not biased at all though, are you?
