Leighton Baines is better than him and hopefully now they'll see sense and call him up rather than going for someone like Lescott
Lescott had a dodgy start at City but was improving by the game up to his injury. Since his return he's been even better. I cant say that I've seen much of Baines but I would definitely have had Lescott in the squad ahead of Bridge.

Isn't he playing centre back these days? He only played left back there for Everton because Moyes wanted more height in the team to defend properly at corners.
