Lets say I go all-in 100 times.

20 times I have the worst starting hand and I win about 4 or 5 of those as you would expect.

80 times I have the best starting hand and of those 80 I win about 20-25 times and usually the other player only has 2 cards in the deck to hit and hits one or both of them. This only tends to happen when I'm all-in which suggests to me something is wrong with the programming or they want people out of tournaments quicker so they can spend more money by joining another tourney when they are out.

Probably sounds like sour grapes but the amount of bad beats on that site is ridiculous.

It's not as ridiculous as you think it is. Apparently the site was originally set up in Cuba with a somewhat murky background. I notice my beats seem to come when i build my stack to around $180, happened the last few times. Another theory is that the code is setup to create a bigger rake, more action = more money for the site. Don't know if you have noticed but there is almost always a draw on the flop

Alright peeps, only just found this thread lol

Only started playing poker this year and I can't get enough of it . I only play with my mates for a £5 buy in usually, but it's a good laugh and can get very addictive! (played 3 nights in a row last week ). I'd say im just an average player really, win some lose some, but practise makes perfect and I certainly get a lot of that!

I've stopped playing on PKR now as they wouldn't give me rakeback!

I've moved across to Full Tilt with 27% rakeback and i'm enjoying it so far! The game is alot quicker and there's alot more choice.

Is anyone using hold'em manager? I've started using it to track my hands and I've got some really useful stats already about where I'm going wrong! It should improve my game alot.

I'm going well in my live games at the moment, up £200+ over the last two weeks and I've not played anything more than £5 buy ins and a £0.50/£1.00 cash game

First hand of a tourney. I get AA, guy goes all in with 55, I call. he hits the 5 on the flop. Shortest tourney of my life.

3 times in the same tourney I had Ace Queen busted by Ace rag (twice by a straight to the kicker) after going all in pre-flop.

Just came 7th in a multi table. $2 buy in and I had no rebuys or add ons and won just over $100 so a nice couple of hours work.

I qualified for the redtooth national finals on Friday night!

I play in a league in which I came in the top 3 this season and won a seat at the north west regional finals.

I had a qualifier on friday and came top 10 out of 430 for a seat at the nationals

I'll get to play at Dusk Till Dawn for the first time now!

i would only play online if i can be 100% sure it won't cost me a thing. does anyone know of sites that will cost you nothing at all.
