He strikes me as the kind of guy that will make his next move to a successful team rather than purely money. Of course he will get a shed load as he is the premier free agent on the market, but I wouldn't see him going to say Washington purely for the money. I think he'd take less (but still a boat load) to go to a winner like Green Bay / Pats or an up and coming team like the Bucs.

True, maybe I should have said warranted a ridiculous amount of money rather than want it.

He doesn't need a lot of money after he rinsed Oakland for that ridiculous contract for how every many years but like you say he'll be a huge contract.

We already have a pretty expensive backfield. Woody is on a lot and we gave Tramon Williams a new contract last season which is pretty high. The money for Aso would probably go above either of those two.

In the end I expect us to have interest (maybe even bring him for a workout), but I think the contract will rightfully be too high for us to get involved, especially when there will be other contending teams who are after him.

I expect to see him in a Patriot or Eagle uniform personally.

Don't rule out Arizona having a look at him. Imagine him opposite to Patrick Peterson.

Nice to be back folks and still no news on the lockout (which tbh I still don't fully understand). I know some of us on here play american football both at Uni and in the i'm guessing national league? Just wondering anyone put me in know for teams round west/south yorkshire area (I'm nearer wakey/donny than leeds) and the opportunities (whether I'd be cut after 2 practices ) Cheers n nice to back n all.

I keep thinking about going to play for one of them, but got no way to get to training.

I would love to tryout for a team but after one hit I'd more than likely be on IR for the rest of my 'career'!

This NFL lockout needs to end soon because it's all getting a little tedious right now

I want to try out, one of them things I think I'd regret if not and if I'm rubbish I wont be suprised either

I wasn't here for the draft so I just keep reading up on it, far too much.
When will a free agency be btw? Its hard trying to pick my teams to support for the year when I haven't got a clue wtf's going on

I don't think anyone(including the players) know when free agency may be TBH, as it stands players(including the drafted ones this year) can't even communicate with their teams legally!

It's a crazy situation to be in for both teams and players, it's about time both stopped being a set of greedy barstewards!!
