I think Detroit have drafted wisely but are still another good draft away from competing for a play-off spot, to get in next year they need the Bears to have a bad year and the Vikings to have a bad year(again) IMO.

And of course thay need to win 9/10 games I can't forget about that

I hope they do though because I don't mind the Lions.

I think they have a real shot.

I think we'll win the division. The Bears haven't improved and they have a poor line. The Vikes are going backwards, I'm a big fan of Ponder but he is no Favre and Sidney Rice is likely to leave. It wouldn't suprise me to see them take those two.

Gabe Carimi will be a decent addition. I think its hard to give and opinion on next year when they has been ZERO free agency.

Just had our Schedule for next season announced, boy this will be fun.

Week 1 @ Derby Braves [3rd in division last year, made Plate Semi Final]
Week 4 @ Loughborough Aces [1st in Division last year, made Playoff Semi Final]
Week 5 @ Birmingham Lions [2nd in Division last year, lost in Playoff Final]
Week 7 vs. MMU Mercenaries [New team]
Week 8 vs. LJM Fury [Returning team]
Week 9 vs. Warwick Wolves [4-4 last year, beat them in last game]
Week 10 vs. Leicester Longhorns [1-7 last year, worst season ever for them]
Week 12 @ Worcester Royals [0-8 last year, beat them comfortably away]

No home games before Christmas...

If Stafford plays all season(the oline needs to up their game for this to happen) I predict the Lions win our division but up till now all he's proved is hit him hard and he gets injured.

Lancashire are getting it easy today Ski, half the Surge team played for us in our Oldboys game yesterday, and got seriously hammered last night.


First play of the game, our 5'3 RB got crushed by one of the Oldboys and got a concussion. "Spandex" Chris Ellis, who plays for Oxford Saints got the MVP after a dominant performance. And the almighty Ed Goka played for the first time in 2 years and ripped us to shreds in the 4th quarter, he's still got the blistering pace.

3-0 But Surge gave us a real challenge. We seem to start very slowly, geta bollocking at H/T and then have a great second half.

I click the link to see the usual informative NFL chat to be let down when I see that The Staffordshire Horses got beat by the Huddersfield Hawks 12-9 and their LB Dave Jenkins has a massive cock.
