Not posted on the LFC thread for a while so here goes. Glad to see the back of Kenny. Liverpool will f*** up their next manager appointment, there is no doubt about that. Downing and Carroll are p*** poor picks for the squad, though I do actually hope they have a good tournament just to quieten down a few people on here. They are still utter dogs*** though. Good luck to Hodgson for the Euro's.......what with the knuckledragging Neanderthals that make up the football fans and the football media, he will f****** well need it.

As an antidote to whinging about the England squad and whinging about a horribly out-of-touch manager getting the elbow, just watched the 1972 European Cup final on ESPN Classic.
What a game. Brilliant. A breath of fresh air.

The bottom line is, everyone is claiming expectations are low but if england don't get to the quarters and put up a good show and performance in the game hodgson will get well and truly raped by the media and it won't be pretty.

Or he could have left both of them out.

With regards to the England squad it's just one bunch of depressingly mediocre options that have been chosen over another, no-one who has been left out hardly grabs the attention or would be a game-changer.

In the scramble to bash Hodgson regarding Ferdinand Fergie's comment the other week that there was no way Ferdinand could play a game every four days in a tournament situation seems to have been ignored.

Rodgers success at Swansea isn't enough to earn him the Liverpool job, IMO.
