If he felt he had been racially abused, then why has each game been preceded with a "will he, wont he" decision over whether he shakes Terry's hand? Every time there has been speculation, and rather than come out and say he doesn't want to shake Terry's hand he has hidden behind the handshakes being cancelled
This time no statement was made and he just refused to do it. Thus giving him maximum exposure.
Before the court case the excuse for their being no handshakes was because his legal team didn't want to influence the court case. But they are clearly trying to influence the FA's hearing now. If Ferdinand felt Terry had racially abused him, why would he GAF if he influenced Terry's court case?
It could be that Ferdinand truly believes he's been racially abused, but really is so stupid and camera shy that he struggles to get his case out. But personally I'm not convinced that the main reason most of the fallout has been because Terry was given the England captaincy back at the expense of his brother.
