Come on, that tells it's own story. I don't know who abramovich has advising him, if anyone at all but he just seems to appoint the flavour of the month, the hot stuff on the block at the time then get's rid as soon as they don't land the champions league. His interest in guardiola is absolutly no suprise, he's the hot sh*t in europe at the moment.

Alot oif the signinsg follow the same trend and can end up disrupting the balance of the team. Didn't you win 2 titles on the bounce then splash out gajillions on the likes of wright phillips shevchenko and ballack? and then not win the title back for another 3 years.

It's a really strange situation because abramovich is the reason you have had alot of the success, but he's also the reason you have't had alot more success.
